2008 Fall Foliage Regional

Directions
From Interstate 495 North or South, take exit 21A to merge onto W Main St toward Hopkinton for 0.7 mi, turn right at Lumber St (the Golden Spoon restaurant is on the right before the turn) and go 0.9 mi. Hopkinton Sportsman’s will be on your left.

Time
Relay 1—9:00am Relay 2 (if needed)—10:00am.
Shooters should plan on shooting Relay 1 since a second relay may not be needed.

Eligibility
Shooters no longer need to be NRA members.

Rules
NRA smallbore rifle rules to apply.

Entries (pre-registration is required)
Shooters need to register in advance by September 24th here. Match fees must also be paid in advance this year. The match is limited to 70 competitors—~35 per relay. SR-1 cards will be available on the day of the match. A t-shirt will be given to each competitor. Squadding will be done in advance by pulling competitor numbers from a hat.

Please take careful note of the cancellation policy: A 100% refund will be given on cancelations up to the entry close date on September 24th. Cancelations after September 24th will be given a 50% refund. Cancelations must be made in writing to the match director by October 3rd (the day before the match). Shooters who do not cancel in writing by October 3rd will not be granted a refund.

Any .22 LR as defined by Rule 3.2

Match Conditions
Current NRA rules will prevail. Targets are to be marked and hung by competitors. Targets must be marked with indicated information plus competitor number only. Clips to mount targets (12) and empty chamber indicators are NOT provided but are required.

Scoring
All scoring will be done by a scoring detail. The challenge fee is $2.00 for your own target, and $3.00 for another competitor’s target. Challenges must be made to the Chief Statistical Officer, within the posted time, and a Jury, whom will be picked by the Match Director, will handle all challenges. The Competitor whose target(s) are being challenged will not be present in the scoring room at the time of the target(s) being looked over by the Jury. Targets may be inspected after the challenge only.

Fees
Total for one day: $40.00
Total for two days: $50.00
Team Fee: $20.00 per team

Awards
Jim Knapp Memorial Trophy awarded to the overall match winner (Match 11). The winner will have their name engraved on the actual trophy and receive a plaque and NRA Award Points.

NRA Regional medals to first, second and third, overall and NRA Award Points for each place.

High Woman and High Senior Overall (Award Points)

First, second and third Sub Junior Overall (Medals)

Class awards will be awarded to 1st place overall in each class (Award Points)

Additionally, Camp Perry credit certificates will be awarded to competitors that win their class, provided there are at least 5 shooters in that class.

The team matches will be Open.

Team Match
The unfired course of fire is 40 shots for each team member over the Dewar Course, over BOTH days (matches 3 and 8). Teams will consist of four members.The team matches will be Open.

Food
This year the Massachusetts Junior State Team will be selling lunch both days to raise money to help pay for team travel expenses. Please support them!

Camping
Camping is allowed on club property during the match. Camper hookups are NOT available
